Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MySimLeague collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use its website, Discord bot, league-management tools, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we may receive your email address, Discord user ID, Discord display name, profile image, and authentication details supplied by the login provider.

League information. We store information you or authorized league administrators submit, including league and season names, schedules, teams, car numbers, driver names, results, standings, penalties, and settings.

Discord integration information. When a server is connected, we may store its Discord server ID, channel ID, the connecting administrator’s Discord user ID, temporary connection codes, and commands sent to the bot.

Technical information. Our service providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request timestamps, cookies, session data, diagnostic events, and security logs when you access the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; create and manage leagues; calculate and publish results and standings; operate Discord commands; protect accounts and the service; diagnose problems; maintain reliability; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with law, and obtain consent where required.

4. How information is shared

Public league pages may display league names, schedules, teams, drivers, results, standings, and penalties. Discord command responses may display league information in the server where a command is used.

We may share information with service providers that support authentication, database storage, hosting, security, and Discord functionality. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and authentication

MySimLeague and its authentication providers may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies needed to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember choices, and operate the service. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working.

6. Data retention

We retain account and league information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Temporary Discord connection codes expire quickly, although limited security or diagnostic records may remain longer. Retention periods may vary by data type and operational need.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated administrative actions and permission checks for Discord management commands. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update league information through authorized management tools, disconnect a Discord integration, stop using the service, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights such as portability, restriction, objection, or appeal. Requests may be submitted through the official support or contact channel published by MySimLeague. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children’s privacy

MySimLeague is not directed to children who are below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us through the official MySimLeague support channel.

10. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date when updates take effect.
